Dr. David Langer
Dr. David Langer is the Director of Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery at St.
Luke's-Roosevelt, Beth Israel and Long Island College Hospital. He is
also the Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery, Albert Einstein
College of Medicine. Dr. David Langer is a graduate of the University of
Pennsylvania and its' medical school. He remained at Penn for his
neurosurgical training, which he completed under the direction of Eugene Flamm until 1998. Upon the completion of his residency he joined Dr.
Flamm as his first neurovascular fellow at Beth Israel Medical Center
and the Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery (INN). Dr. Langer's
clinical interests include neurovascular surgery including arteriovenous
malformations, aneurysms and carotid artery disease as well as complex
spinal disorders and brain tumors. Dr. Langer is the author of many
papers and chapters and has lectured nationally and internationally
on a number of topics in neurosurgery.

Dr.
Konstantin Slavin
Dr. Konstantin Slavin is the Chief of Stereotactic and Functional
Neurosurgery Section, for the Department of Neurosurgery, University of
Illinois at Chicago as well as the Director of the Illinois Gamma Knife
Center in Elk Grove Village, IL. Dr. Slavin serves at both the
University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center and at Alexian Brothers
Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, IL.
His clinical interests include stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, facial pain, trigeminal
neuralgia and gamma knife stereotactic radiosurgery. His activities and
achievements include being a Board member of the American Society of
Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery; Executive Committee member of
the Joint Section on Pain of the American Association of Neurological
Surgeons (AANS) and Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS); President
of the Russian–American Medical Association; Editor of the Newsletter of
the American Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery; Member
of the Joint Committee on Guidelines of AANS and CNS; Editorial Board
member for the Annals of Neurosurgery (electronic journal) and Editorial
Board member for the International Journal of Biomedical Science (IJBS).
Dr Slavin has been published in many books and peer reviewed journals
and has successfully lectured throughout the world. He also continues to
be an active contributor of significant
abstracts and posters at many of the
leading medical meetings.

Dr.
Ezriel E. Kornel
Dr. Ezriel E. Kornel is the Director of the Institute for Neuroscience
at Northern Westchester Hospital, Mount Kisco, NY and a partner in the
group practice, Neurosurgeons of New York in White Plains, NY. President
of the New York State Neurosurgical Society and a New York State
Neurosurgical Society delegate to the Congress of State Neurosurgical
Societies. Dr. Kornel serves on the Board of Directors of Medical
Liability Mutual Insurance Company (MLMIC).

Dr. Pierro Andrea Oppido
Dr. Pierro Andrea Oppido is one of the leading neurosurgeons at the
National Cancer Institute "Regina Elena" in Rome, Italy. Dr. Oppido's
specialty is neuroendoscopy. Dr. Oppido belongs to the Congress of
Neurological Surgeons (CNS), the European Association for NeuroOncology
(EANO). Dr. Oppido has presented at numerous congresses throughout
Europe and the United States.
